ABOUT ME

As a psychologist, I operate from the belief that everyone has a story and that each story is remarkable. I consider it a privilege to share in your story and to be able to assist you along your way. I have provided psychological assistance to people from all walks of life. As a result, I am acutely aware that one size does not fit all in therapy, so I tailor individual treatment plans based on modalities including, Brainspotting, IFS, EMDR, ACT and Mindfulness-based therapies. I have extensive experience treating various conditions within the anxiety, depression and trauma “families”. I am adept at managing workplace issues such as bullying and harassment, interpersonal conflict, stress, work/life balance and worker’s compensation claims. I have provided workshops, mentoring and organisational input to local businesses and industry for over 20 years. Away from work I enjoy ocean swimming, music, travel and a daily coffee at my local cafe.

About

How I Can

Help You

My practice is located in New Lambton, NSW.   I work with adults (of all genders) who present with trauma, anxiety, guilt, anger, irritability, unexplained feelings and hopelessness.  If you have a high demanding career, such as a police officer, or a paramedic, then I work with you.  Ideally, you're seeking a clinician who specialises in trauma, grief and loss and depression and anxiety.

I have extensive training in Brainspotting. This is a highly effective brain-based therapy designed to help people access, process, and overcome trauma, negative emotions, and pain, including psychologically induced physical pain.
